SkySchool Cessna departs runway

No injuries to occupants

On Feb. 16, 2006 at approximately 5:20 p.m., units from the Prescott Fire Department Airport Rescue Fire Fighting unit responded to Runway 12 at Prescott Ernest A. Love Field on the report of an aircraft crash.

Witnesses reported seeing N13514, a Cessna 172 registered and operated by Skyschool Inc. resting on its right wing with its right main and nose gear collapsed.

According to the initial onscene report by the Prescott Fire Department, all of the occupants were out of the aircraft and walking around.

At this time it is not known why the aircraft departed the runway.

Additional information will be reported by Horizons Newspaper as it is available.

On Nov. 7, 2005, N2111P, a Piper Warrior operated by Skyschool Inc. crashed near Payson. The sole-occupant, a private pilot, reportedly told air traffic control, "I think my tanks are dry," according to the NTSB report. The pilot did not suffer any serious injuries.
