The International Student Association at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University invites the ERAU students, faculty, and staff to its annual International Festival on Saturday, Mar. 4, starting at 4:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Embry-Riddle Eagle Gym.
Attendees will receive a "Food Passport" which will allow them to sample foods from five different countries, prepared and served by students from various nations around the world. ERAU students receive a free passport with valid student ID and Embry-Riddle faculty and staff with University identification will be charged $5.00. As always, children under the age of 12 may sample food free of charge.
In addition to the opportunity to taste a variety of international foods, the event offers information about other countries and cultures as well as examples of the native clothing and music of various countries. Live entertainment will be provided by numerous students and community groups at the International Festival.
Fifty-six international students from over 25 different countries are currently enrolled at Embry-Riddle. The International Student Association sponsors this festival to encourage interaction between international students and other campus students as well as with citizens of the Tri-City area.
