Aloha! Chartwells will be featuring the sounds and flavors of the Hawaiian Islands in the Dining Room! Please join us for our annual Hawaiian Luau Buffet Wednesday Apr. 12 in the Food Court from11:00am-1:00pm. All this for a special All-You-Care-To-Eat lunch buffet priced at $5.99.
Chartwells staff members will be holding a Hurricane Relief Fundraiser during the month of April. Weekly events planned include a blanket collection effort, a churro bake sale on the quad and a quarter drive to raise money and awareness for the families of the Katrina disaster. All proceeds will go to the victims of Mississippi affected by last summer's hurricanes. The people living in these areas continue to need our help to rebuild their lives. While their plight has dropped from the current story headlines their troubles are still faced daily. Your support is appreciated.
Fun food facts while students were away from campus during Spring Break 2006. The Dining Hall was overflowing with Arizona Wildfire Academy firefighters and Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano's Forest Health Summit. Chartwells served approximately 604 dozen eggs and 10,322 meals during the events of Spring Break week.
