Fall Semester is well under way, so OctoberWest must be just around the corner! This year, OctoberWest weekend is scheduled for October 19-21 at the Prescott campus.
What exactly is OctoberWest? It is Embry-Riddle Prescott's annual homecoming event. Homecoming is typically defined as an annual tradition observed usually during the Fall. Its purpose is to welcome back former residents and alumni, celebrate the spirit of the institution and is built around a central event. OctoberWest is all that…and a whole lot more.
The theme for this year's OctoberWest is "High Desert Paradise" and reflects a tropical island feel. Think of the sounds of steel drum bands and reggae music, the sumptuous tastes of the Caribbean (jerk chicken, rum cake!), and one very laid back attitude. It's also about secret treasures, adventure and, yes, pirates! Visit the official OctoberWest web page at [www.erau.edu/pr/alumni/octoberwest/index.html].

Fri, Oct. 20, is University Day, and there are no classes. But, there is a lot to do on campus.
OctoberWest weekend is three solid days devoted to the student body's complete entertainment. OctoberWest weekend is what college is all about. Don't miss out!
