Men's Soccer crushes The Master's College, 1-0

The Men's Soccer team improved to 6-6-1 Thursday, September 21 with a strong win over GSAC powerhouse The Master's College.

The Eagles scored very early in the game with a free kick taken by senior Rosendo Orozco that found sophomore Samson Ajir for the goal. The team then held on to the win with strong defense and some more great opportunities on goal.

Guillermo Lara earned the shutout for the Eagles, making four stellar saves on the afternoon. "We scored a great goal," commented Coach Barlow. "And then we played smart, organized soccer, showing the GSAC that we are a team to contend with."

The Eagles play again on Saturday, September 23rd at 12:00 against Westmont College, who sits atop not only the GSAC, but also the National Rankings.
