The Women's Soccer team played BYU Hawaii and it was a tale of two halves, with the Eagles playing timid and reactive in the first half and strong and aggressive in the second half.
Unfortunately for the Eagles, the let down in the first half saw the team give up three early goals, in the 21st minute, the 22nd minute and the 31st minute. "We came out and let them play around us," commented Coach Luckett after the game. "Once we changed our style after half, we showed BYU that we are a team to be reckoned with."
It was also the day the team celebrated the contributions of seniors Kalei Silva and Andrea Dowling, both of whom have done amazing things for the Eagles for the last three years. Both of them joined the team in 2004 for its inaugural season and have been the key ingredients for the team's growth and success over the last three years. "I am proud and honored to have coached these talented women and we are going to miss them next year."
