Despite a late arrival to the school, the comedian Tiny Glover delivered an entertaining show with humorous stories and great audience interaction. The hype before the show was enough that the DLC auditorium filled up quickly, and despite the nearly half-hour late start, everyone kept their seat, eagerly anticipating a night of laughs. Before the show got started, students from the BCA tossed out Octoberwest T-Shirts to the crowd to keep them engaged as they waited for Glover to arrive.
Once the show got started, it was obvious that Glover knew what he was doing and could get a laugh while talking about anything and everything. It did not take him very long to get started and he continued to deliver from there. Topics were far ranging, going from the misfortunes of travel, to his family, and even to interesting individuals he encountered while on his tour.
Glover also showcased a great flexibility, interacting with random audience members and eliciting responses from many individuals in the crowd. He commented about people entering late, people leaving to go the bathroom, and made fun of just about everybody, including himself. He even interacted with a photographer attending the show, posing for the camera. He told stories about doctor's visits, the holidays, and life in the city, always managing to get a good laugh or two from the audience in the process.
Overall, Glover provided and excellent show and capped off an eventful day for the campus. Tiny also commented that this was as much fun for him and it was for the audience, adding that this was probably one of his best shows on his lengthy tour.
