Kicking off an evening of campus activities during the second day of Octoberwest was the third annual parade. This year's theme of high desert paradise was overwhelmingly apparent throughout it. As freshman Sean Thatcher put it, "There was a lot of booty!"

From local Prescottonians to families of students, the short traditional route of Hass Blvd was lined with people from all over the country. There were even some alumni fresh off the golf course from their earlier tournament. Aside from the few students who looked like they had been towed there by their roommates, the crowed was pretty excited.

Thanks to the many clubs and organizations of ERAU, the floats got to see almost a full quarter mile of action. Some floats looked as though it was almost too much, but most of them made the voyage safely and with out incident.

Aside from the fleet of pirate ships there were a few random entries. The dance club and Dr. Ashworth's mountain man twosome rounded out the farthest stretch of the theme.

After finishing another successful Octoberwest parade, the spectators and participants journeyed over to the athletic fields for the October festival.
