It is nearing the time of year where most students in--dulge themselves in a wonderful feast during the Thanksgiving holiday. In an effort to make the time go by quicker for students, SGA brought Jamie Lissow to ERAU for a side-splitting night of laughs in the DLC .

Lissow has been featured on Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Lissow started the night off with the usual cracks about how ERAU is out in the middle of nowhere. He changed it up some by talking about the coyotes and how the speed limit does not matter on I-17. This made it seem as if the show was going to be just like any other comedian SGA had brought to the Prescott campus.

He continued by telling the audience one of the better pranks to play on drunks by the designated driver. The prank involves a car wash and the driver yelling at the last person he/she is driving home that it is pouring down rain, so much so that it is foaming with soap, and they better run to their front door.

Soon after that joke Lissow was upstaged by a mouse running around on stage. Lissow, having his comic routine completely interrupted, spent approximately five minutes searching for the mouse who had run up the curtain. The mouse interrupted the show one more time before Lissow finally found it and it disappeared for the rest of the night.

After the little mouse interruption Lissow started to get to the heart of ERAU with some of his jokes. He was reminded of the time he was at a music store and saw someone reading a book of sheet music, all Lissow could think of was the guy should just go and buy an iPod instead of being cheap. Next he caught the audience off guard with a simple joke.

"If you watch all the Star Trek movies back to back….you are a loser."

This did not go over well with some audience members, and Lassow figured this out and asked for other suggestions. Throughout the show he played off of audience interaction and suggestions.

The show ended an hour after it began and Jamie Lissow had gotten a very good piece of advice from the audience after asking the question, "Is there anything to do in Prescott before I leave?"

In unison the audience shouted, "No, just leave!"
