Edwards Air Force Base showcased some of the United States Air Force's best aircraft and pilots at its 2006 Open House and Airshow on Oct 27-28.

Many of the aircraft that performed during the airshow are rarely seen by civilians. Such aircraft as the F/A-22 Raptor, the F-117 "Stealth Fighter," and the B-2 "Stealth Bomber" made appearances, along with the United States Army's parachute demonstration team, the Golden Knights. The USAF Thunderbirds flight demonstration squadron was the highlight of the show and performed for a crowd of over 250,000.
